Ndamukong Suh Heading to the Miami Dolphins

It’s being widely reported that Ndamukong Suh is headed to the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday March 10th 2015.

The deal is said to be worth $114 million over six years with $60 million guaranteed.

The Detroit Lions made a strong offer to keep Suh but just couldn’t match the offer the Dolphins presented.

As soon as it was reported that the Lions would not use the franchise tag on Suh I knew it was a done deal. No franchise tag and no long term deal announcement made it quite obvious that the defensive tackle would be taking his talents elsewhere.

How do you feel about Suh leaving Detroit? Personally, I don’t care. Yes he’s an elite talent, but he can also be a headache. The Detroit Lions defense was/is comprised of many more pieces than just one man. Only time will tell what the impact will be, however I don’t believe it’s as dire for the Lions as many people think.
